Remember in Dirt 5 (i think it was that one) when buddy compresses in that ditch and goes head first, wide open into that fence. One of the worst crashes i've seen. Sketchy.

lvbks, you are ignorant. Dude doesn't even drink anymore. Straight laced. He's been there, done that and shown us how it's done in DH, MX, snowboard 1/2 pipe, freestyle, boardercross, and skiercross of all things (funniest because he started the whole snowboarder vs. skier thing). He is the oldschool OG. Check him back in the early nineties waking up drunk, chugging beers before dropping in to the US open pipe and boosting bigger than everyone and winning. Dude has paved many roads for several sports. RESPECT!

Agreed. My old DHI did ride very well and pedal even better, and Balfa's are still sought after. A good combo in my opinion. Follows the KISS rule too: Keep It Simple Stupid.

What was all that bright light? If i didn't know any better i could have sworn it was the sun.

Check out the vertical rail just above the BB and behind the seat tube that dictates the wheel path. Clever and very unique. It looks like it would be a torsionally stiff setup too. I wonder how sticky that rail would get?

It took me a second glance to realize that's Palmer in the last pic! He looks more refined these days than the old clown setup with a beer in hand boosting out of Stratton's pipe. Way to go bro, keep killing it!

Cool vid, but Braaap? Braaap is a term used to describe the sound a 2 stroke engine, typically a sled, makes at full throttle. Cheesy name for a DH bike vid, and one that has been used already. Slaaap! would be more appropriate as that's about the only sound i hear coming from pedal bikes. The riding still managed to overcome the name thankfully.

The address for Beasley Park is 27 Elgin st Hamilton. It's at the corner Wilson and Mary st. York turns into Wilson, which had me confused before. Small, fun, tight park. Take care, Alex

The switching of parts is a huge pain, agreed. That seems to go hand in hand with the bike market. It used to be 1" or 1 1/8th steer tubes, and the different seat tubes etc etc. It's always been a pain. You don't really need a 1.5" HT at the top cause all the stress is at the bottom cup, hence the benefits of a 1.5" with half the weight of a full 1.5" setup.

It allows for more weld area in the head tube which at the same time increases rigidity. You can get reducers for the lower cup to still run a 1 1/8th fork. I personally really like the idea and too welcome a new standard. That is quite slack for a bike with the name trail in it. Should be a good descender. The frame looks really good to me too, very strong and stiff. Like a lighter Demo. Nice bike.

Hello,
I did end up going. I hadn't heard from you and I figured you still weren't feeling well, until I noticed the note you left for me is on your board below - so I never received the message. How about this Saturday?

Hello,
The way this week is shaping up, it looks like Saturday morning is the only day that's going to work for me at Puslinch.
